Food and Beverage Server

You will be responsible for: - Greeting all guests with eye contact and a warm welcome, engaging in pleasant hospitality, and thanking them for each transaction. - Taking food and drink orders, interacting with customers to enhance their experience. - Making recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverages using upselling techniques. - Delivering orders to the kitchen and ensuring accurate and timely preparation. - Serving food and drinks professionally and courteously. - Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner. - Checking on guests periodically to ensure meal satisfaction. - Setting tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and napkins. - Clearing tables efficiently after guests leave and resetting for the next customers. - Managing tabs for customers with accounts. - Organizing and maintaining a tidy work environment. - Collaborating with other staff members to ensure efficient operations. - Communicating customer issues or special requests to relevant team members. - Managing a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and adapting to changing customer needs. - Keeping the dining area clean and well-maintained throughout the shift. - Assisting in general cleaning tasks like sweeping and mopping. - Following hygiene and safety standards in food handling and service. - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
