FNB Trainer

Job Description – F&B Trainer Position Summary

The F&B Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and monitoring training programs for all Food & Beverage staff to ensure high standards of service, product knowledge, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The role focuses on improving staff performance, maintaining consistency, and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Development

• Conduct onboarding training for new F&B staff.
• Train employees on service standards, sequence of service, grooming, etiquette, and communication.
• Provide hands-on training on table setup, order taking, serving techniques, and handling guest complaints.
• Train staff on menu knowledge, including food ingredients, beverage types, wine service, and allergen awareness.
• Develop training modules, training manuals, and SOPs.

2. Performance Monitoring

• Conduct regular assessments and evaluate staff performance.
• Identify skill gaps and arrange targeted training sessions.
• Observe daily operations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Maintain training records and track progress.

3. Administration & Reporting

• Prepare weekly/monthly training reports.
• Update training calendars and coordinate sessions with department heads.
• Maintain proper documentation of attendance, assessments, and certifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of F&B service experience; previous training experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
• Ability to motivate and mentor staff at all levels.
• Understanding of hygiene, safety, and hospitality guidelines.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
