Job Description

Role Overview: As the Engineering Manager, you will be tasked with overcoming engineering challenges by upholding excellence and high standards in preventive maintenance programs and conservation practices. Your role will involve managing on-site mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations, and civil maintenance, along with preparing the list of critical spares for all installations based on manufacturer recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain the asset register of all equipment on site. - Plan and manage budgets for Engineering and Operational contracts. - Prepare and ensure adherence to planned preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment. - Ensure any RFC (Change Request) is planned two weeks in advance for all PPM activities. - Monitor and evaluate M&E vendors for services and statutory compliance. - Develop standard operating procedures for all critical equipment. - Provide specialist advice to the technical team as needed. - Conduct Technical Audits for all installations at periodical intervals. - Analyze call-outs to understand trends and undertake strategic initiatives to minimize them. - Manage all incidents appropriately to reduce impact, escalate and report incidents as per account guidelines. - Ensure timely closure of all identified risks post taking required corrective actions. - Conduct Annual Power down once a year for respective sites as per guidelines. - Prepare contingency plans to deal with emergencies. - Identify and implement energy conversation initiatives. - Support Account Manager in preparing management reports and reviewing trend analysis for service improvement. - Conduct monthly and quarterly meetings, reviews, and performance assessments of technical vendors. - Identify training needs of the technical team. - Prepare critical spares list for all installations and oversee the preventive maintenance program to reduce the risk of sudden failures. - Review maintenance/service practices of M&E contracts to deliver quality work practices. - Ensure contractors follow house rules and handle projects with minimum inconvenience to the client. - Prepare M&E operational SLA reports as per specified time and send across. Qualifications Required: - Degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering. - 8 to 10 years of experience in facilities management with technical expertise. - Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team in both leadership and individual contributor roles.,
