Floor Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the Ather Service Center. The role involves supervising technicians, ensuring smooth workflow on the shop floor, maintaining quality service standards, and delivering a superior customer experience. The Floor Supervisor will act as the key link between customers, service advisors, and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day service floor operations and allocate job cards to technicians.
• Ensure proper workflow, timely completion of service/repair jobs, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with Ather’s service standards.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors for accurate job estimation, customer updates, and timely vehicle delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline on the workshop floor.
• Conduct regular tool and equipment checks to ensure proper usage and maintenance.
• Train, guide, and motivate technicians to improve efficiency and technical skills.
• Handle escalated customer concerns related to service quality and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain records of service operations, productivity, and job status for reporting to the Service Manager.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of two-wheeler service operations, preferably EV (Electric Vehicle).
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Ability to manage workflow efficiently and solve problems on the spot.
• Knowledge of workshop safety standards and quality control practices.
• Computer proficiency (DMS, MS Office, service reporting tools).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a service center, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in electric vehicle service will be an added advantage.
