Key Responsibilities (Software Side)
Develop and tune control algorithms (PID, LQR, adaptive/robust control).
Build dynamic models of mechanical/electrical/aerospace systems in
MATLAB/Simulink.
Perform stability, frequency response, and disturbance analysis.
Implement algorithms in embedded platforms (C/C++, Simulink auto-code).
Conduct system identification and parameter estimation.
Run SIL, MIL and HIL simulations before hardware deployment
Key Responsibilities (Hardware & Practical Side)
Select and integrate sensors (IMU, GPS, etc.).
Select actuators (servos, BLDC motors, ESCs, hydraulic/pneumatic actuators).
Work with microcontroller boards (STM32, PX4, etc.).
Interact with power electronics ESCs, motor drivers, DC-DC converters, protection
circuits.
Calibrate sensors
Implement real-time communication ( for example through MAVLink).
Conduct bench-testing for actuators, motors, and control loops.
Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generators for debugging.
Develop test setup for motors, servo dynamics, propulsion testing, and load-test setups.
Validate closed-loop control performance on actual hardware (tuning, step response,
frequency tests).
Perform failure analysis.
Ensure safety interlocks, emergency stop logic, and redundancy
Qualifications
B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. in, Aerospace, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
Experience with both control theory and embedded/real hardware integration.
Hands-on experience with tools such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, DAQ systems.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, embedded debugging

Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
Clear documentation and communication.
