Flexible Printing Ink Specialist

You are an experienced Flexible Printing Ink Specialist with a deep understanding of ink formulation, production, and application on Flexographic, Gravure, and PET film substrates. Your role involves managing the entire ink production process, including formulation, mixing, testing, and quality control. You will be responsible for troubleshooting printing issues on various flexible substrates such as PET, BOPP, LDPE, among others. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to customers and customize inks as per their requirements. Collaborating with the R&D team is essential to enhance ink properties like adhesion, gloss, and drying. Ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards is a crucial part of your responsibilities. In order to excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in flexible packaging inks, with expertise in Flexo and Gravure processes. A strong understanding of pigments, resins, solvents, and factors affecting ink performance is vital. Familiarity with printing press operations and the ability to troubleshoot client issues will be beneficial. A degree or diploma in Chemistry or Printing Technology would be preferred.
