Job Description

Location: Wada | Maharashtra } 90 KM from Thane Key Responsibilities of a Fitter in a Plant Assembly and Installation Fit and assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools. Install machinery, piping, and mechanical systems based on blueprints or technical drawings. Align and position parts accurately to ensure proper function. Maintenance and Repair Conduct routine maintenance on plant machinery (pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.). Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements. Ensure that machinery operates efficiently and safely. Pipe Fitting (in chemical or process plants) Measure, cut, and install piping systems for the transport of fluids or gases. Ensure leak-free and pressure-rated joints using techniques like welding, threading, or flanging. Fabrication Work with metal sheets, plates, or structures to fabricate components as needed. Use tools like grinders, cutting torches, and welding machines. Reading Drawings and Technical Plans Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals for installation or repair work. Follow specifications precisely to maintain quality and safety. Safety and Compliance Adhere to plant safety protocols, especially when working with hazardous machinery or chemicals. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaboration Work closely with maintenance engineers, electricians, welders, and other tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently. Qualifications : Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3 to 6 years of experience in maintenance within a Rubber or industrial plant. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, pumps components. Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Exp 3 to 6 Years
