Supervise shift operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and process compliance. Coordinate manpower deployment and ensure proper use of raw materials. Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalate as required. Maintain daily shift reports, machine logs, and production records. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support maintenance team during routine and breakdown maintenance. Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a rubber recycling or similar industrial plant. Working knowledge of production machinery, safety practices, and shift management. Basic understanding of process parameters and quality control.

Location: Wada | Maharashtra } 90 KM from Thane Key Responsibilities of a Fitter in a Plant Assembly and Installation Fit and assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools. Install machinery, piping, and mechanical systems based on blueprints or technical drawings. Align and position parts accurately to ensure proper function. Maintenance and Repair Conduct routine maintenance on plant machinery (pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.). Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements. Ensure that machinery operates efficiently and safely. Pipe Fitting (in chemical or process plants) Measure, cut, and install piping systems for the transport of fluids or gases. Ensure leak-free and pressure-rated joints using techniques like welding, threading, or flanging. Fabrication Work with metal sheets, plates, or structures to fabricate components as needed. Use tools like grinders, cutting torches, and welding machines. Reading Drawings and Technical Plans Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals for installation or repair work. Follow specifications precisely to maintain quality and safety. Safety and Compliance Adhere to plant safety protocols, especially when working with hazardous machinery or chemicals. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaboration Work closely with maintenance engineers, electricians, welders, and other tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently. Tech/ CIPET / Rubber / Rubber technology Role & responsibilities To supervise and manage testing, certification and release of raw materials/in-process products/Finished products and packing materials. To collect, compile, analyze the quality data for internal rejection, supplier's rejection and customer complaints and initiative corrective and preventive actions. To do product development & trials (for existing products),yield improvement and process optimization.. To maintain quality of the product within declared norms. To monitor quality system. To provide technical support for product improvement/ development. ISO and Internal Audits about product specifiaction. Team Building and motivation activity. SAP knowledge. Other Important / Specific Information: Knowledge of Plastic/ Polymer behavior processing and Testing of products. Preferred candidate profile 2.
