Job Description Position: Fitness Trainer

Location: Chennai (Thoraipakkam/Besant Nagar/Mylapore/Nungambakkam)

Timing: Breakshift (6am to 10am & 5pm to 9pm )

About Us: O2 HEALTH STUDIO pioneering in Health & fitness in Chennai, was started in August 2001. We offer Gym, Personal Training, Nutrition, Group Fitness and Physiotherapy Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations for new and existing members.
• Develop and implement personalized training programs based on individual goals and fitness levels.
• Lead group fitness classes, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience for all participants.
• Provide guidance and support to members on exercise techniques, equipment usage, and injury prevention, Monitor and track members’ progress, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continued improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized workout area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition, Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Promote and sell personal training packages and other studio services. Build and maintain strong relationships with members, encouraging a supportive and motivational environment.
• Collaborate with other trainers and staff to create a cohesive and dynamic team. Qualifications
• Certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA).
• CPR/AED certification.
• Proven experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor.
• Strong knowledge of various fitness programs, from cardiovascular training to strength training and flexibility exercises.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their fitness goals.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to the fitness industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a diploma in related field.
• Experience in a similar fitness studio or gym environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
