Firmware Validation

As a Lead II - Semiconductor Product Validation at UST, your role involves developing system test plans, test cases, and automating modules/products for Data Center or Cloud, collaborating with silicon, platform hardware, and firmware teams. Your responsibilities include: - Developing system test plans, test cases, and automation for individual modules/products - Interfacing with hardware teams during test content development based on product requirements - Creating automation for test content and ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications - Executing test automation to meet project schedules and timelines - Engaging in system engineering, system level integration, and debugging of system software - Having exposure to hardware interfaces, system design, and reading schematics - Understanding or having prior experience with IPMI, BMC, SNMP, BIOS, Device Drivers, High Availability - Using Python for automation scripting with Robot framework - Creating system test cases, test plans, test reports, and debugging failures - Establishing automated testing pipelines and CI/CD systems - Conducting system-level debugging and triaging production-level issues - Performing stress, performance, and reliability testing - Reporting project status and communicating effectively The qualifications we are looking for include: - Solid experience in systems engineering, embedded systems qualification, and validation - Proficiency in automation frameworks like Robot Framework - Experience with Python for automation scripting - Knowledge of Baseboard Management Control (BMC), Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI), Firmware (Boot Loader, U Boot, UEFI, BIOS), and System Bus interfaces (PCIe, I2C, I3C, SPI, SCSI, NVMe, USB),
