Firmware Engineer

• UI & Display Development (LVGL)
• Initialize and configure the LVGL graphics library for custom display hardware
• Develop high-quality UI screens including splash screens, boot animations, home screen grids, and mode screens.
• Implement smooth touch gestures (swipe, tap, multi-gesture support).
• Design and integrate lock screen and always-on display functionality.
• Create and optimize custom icons, animations, and user flow transitions.
• Integrate light sensors (e.g., BH1750) for auto-brightness control.
• Implement vibration motor and speaker alert functionalities.
• Parse and utilize GPS data for location-based features.
• Implement battery monitoring and power optimization logic.

Communication & Connectivity:

• Implement BLE for mobile pairing and mode switching, and integrate LTE for cloud connectivity using HTTP/MQTT.
• Ensure reliable communication between the MCU and peripherals using I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Build core system logic including notifications, background services, real-time UI updates, and OTA updates with safe rollback.
• Integrate all modules into a unified, stable firmware architecture.
• Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, boot time, and display latency.
• Perform comprehensive debugging, stress testing, and profiling to ensure production-grade stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded firmware development for IoT or display-based devices.
• Strong knowledge of LVGL and ESP32 with proficiency in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, LTE, and display interfaces.
• Experience with sensor integration, GPS NMEA, and MQTT/HTTP workflows.
• Skilled in OTA updates, memory optimization, and ideally RTOS.
• Familiarity with tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD.
