Job Description

JD:

  • Compliance of Work Permit, Onsite Emergency Plan, and Mock drill.
  • Compliance of Contractor safety management.
  • Conducting Training to shop floor employees on fire and safety topics like On-job trainings, Toolbox talk etc.
  • To advice, PPE Compliance at shop floor.
  • To identify unsafe act & unsafe condition and control for its reduction.
  • To advice Accident/Incident/Near miss/Dangerous occurrence Reporting & Investigation.
  • Fire Fighting and Safety Equipment weekly, monthly, Quarterly care and maintenance.
  • To carried out Daily Safety plant round and Inspection.
  • Assisting and co-operating with the management in achieving the aims and objectives outlined in the 'Environment Health and Safety Policy' of the occupier;
  • Dealing with all matters concerning health, safety and environment and to arrive at practicable solutions to problems encountered;
  • Creating safety awareness amongst all workers;
  • Undertaking educational, training and promotional activities;
  • Looking into any complaint made on the likelihood of an imminent danger to the safety and health of the workers and suggesting corrective measures; and reviewing the implementation of the recommendations made by it.
  • To work as a standby person for monitoring critical activities like hot work and confined space and manual solid charging in reactor etc.
  • Conduct induction trainings to contract labours at the time of an entry.
  • Follow up c-GMP and GDP Guidelines.
