Role Overview: As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for security planning, risk assessment, and implementing effective guarding strategies. You will oversee the hiring and supervision of contract security staff personnel, provide training in life safety and first aid, control access to buildings, and monitor visitor activities. Additionally, you will manage security scheduling, approve contract invoices, and ensure ongoing compliance with security policies and procedures. Your role will also involve maintaining communication with property management and other building-related services staff, monitoring building operations, and assisting in emergency situations such as fire evacuations and human crises. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct security planning, risk assessment, and implement effective guarding strategies - Interview and approve hiring of contract security staff personnel - Supervise security staff, assign and monitor work assignments, and provide training in life safety and first aid - Control access to buildings and monitor activities of visitors - Manage security scheduling, approve contract invoices, and ensure ongoing compliance with security policies and procedures - Maintain contract employee scheduling and training records - Supervise parking access personnel staff - Establish inspection tours of property focusing on all areas of ingress/egress - Maintain and update Security Policies and Procedures manual - Assist in emergency situations and communicate effectively with property management Qualifications Required: - Qualified degree holder with ample experience in security services - Ability to train, assign, organize, prioritize, motivate, supervise, and evaluate security staff - Proficient in developing solutions for short term and long term security needs - Knowledgeable in emergency procedures, threats, and associated risks for buildings - Thorough understanding of emergency situation handling and fire drills - Skilled in preparing accurate reports containing findings and recommendations - Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing - Ability to follow safety rules and regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions - Demonstrate integrity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks,
