Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire Officer, based in Chandigarh. The Fire Officer will be tasked with planning and implementing fire prevention measures, managing emergency response protocols, and ensuring the safety of employees, infrastructure, and assets. Responsibilities include inspecting facilities for compliance with fire safety regulations, conducting drills, and training personnel in fire safety practices. The Fire Officer will collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain a robust fire safety management system.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety protocols
• Experience in Emergency Services and handling emergency situations effectively
• Strong knowledge of Fire Safety Management, including planning and inspections
• Hands-on experience in Fire Service operations and procedures
• Ability to train and educate others on Fire Safety practices and compliance standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with local fire safety regulations and standards
• Relevant certifications or a degree/diploma in fire safety or a related discipline
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
