Job Description

Position: Design Engineer - Fire Fighting

Experience: 8 - 15 Years

Location: Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop detailed engineering designs for fire protection systems including water-based

systems, gas-based suppression systems, foam systems, and fire detection and alarm

systems (FDAS).

Perform hydraulic calculations, hazard analysis, and system sizing using tools like

SprinkCALC and Pipe net.

Prepare design deliverables including P&IDs, layout drawings, isometrics, cable routing,

and control logic diagrams.

Ensure compliance with NFPA, OISD, TAC, and other relevant codes and standards.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of fire protection

systems.

Support technical reviews, client interactions, and vendor coordination for design

validation.

Provide engineering assistance during procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning

stages.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in fire protection

system design and detail engineering.

Experience in designing fire protection and detection systems for Oil & Gas, Power, and

emerging energy sector projects (e.g., green hydrogen, compressed biogas).
