Fire and Protection Design Engineer / HSE / Loss Prevention Engineer

• Design Fire Protection Systems:

  Create designs for fire sprinkler, hydrant and water spray systems, fire suppression systems and smoke control systems.

• Conduct Site Visits:

  Gather information and assess fire protection needs.

• Perform Calculations:

  Conduct hydraulic calculations and prepare system layouts.

• Collaboration:

  Work with architects, I&C,Electrical, Civil and other engineering professionals to integrate fire protection systems.

• Documentation:

  Prepare detailed drawings, P&ID, design basis reports and Tender documents including Bill of Material and Specifications and data sheets.

• Vendor drawing review.

• Ensure Compliance:

  Make sure designs adhere to applicable codes and standards, such as FM Global, NFPA, BIS standards and local regulations.

• Prepare Documentation:

  Develop project specifications and cost estimates.

• Provide Technical Support:

  Assist during construction and commissioning phases.

• Compliance:

  Ensure that all fire protection systems comply with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.

• Participate in Meetings:

  Provide updates and progress reports during project

• Education:

  A bachelors degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  1-5 years of experience in fire protection engineering or a related field.

• Skills:

  Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in fire protection codes and standards (e.g., IS, NBC, FM,NFPA).
