Financial Reporting Specialist

As the Financial Reporting Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial reporting function for the group in Mumbai. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in ensuring the company's financial reporting practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Deputy Vice President - Accounts, you will lead a team of CAs responsible for preparing consolidated and standalone financial statements. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation of various financial reports, managing external audits, and ensuring accurate accounting practices such as ledger scrutiny, stock verification, and inter-company reconciliation. You will also be responsible for developing accounting policies, ensuring process compliance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and reliability of financial information. In addition to financial reporting, you will be involved in auditing and taxation activities, including handling statutory auditors, internal audits, and coordinating with other functions to ensure the timely completion of required reports and statements. Maintaining the highest standards of compliance with Lodha Group's policies, processes, and values will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing finance reporting team, providing mentorship and guidance to team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate for this role should be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of experience focusing on Financial Reporting, Statutory Audit, and Financial Accounting. Prior experience working with Big Four Accounting firms is mandatory for this position.
