Job Description

As a Financial Reporting Associate/Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS), you will be part of a leading provider of third-party hedge fund services with a global presence. MSFS operates independently within Morgan Stanley and offers a range of services including accounting support, investor services, tax services, and more. Your role will involve assisting the Financial Reporting Manager in preparing financial statements for hedge fund clients under US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS. You will work closely with the global team based in Mumbai and Glasgow to deliver timely financial statements for audits. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work efficiently with the financial reporting team to deliver financial statements that comply with US GAAP/IFRS for annual audits and interim reports - Prepare financials from supporting documents - Create Condensed Schedule of Investments (CSoI) and Statement of Cash Flows - Assist auditors and ensure smooth audit of financial statements by providing valid backup data - Utilize analytical and interpretational skills effectively **Team Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate good communication skills - Ensure timely delivery of financial statements - Adhere to internal control policies and procedures **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Fully completed Accounting qualification/certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) - 2 years PQE in auditing or financial reporting preferred - Experience in Public accounting or Hedge Fund Administration advantageous At Morgan Stanley, you can expect a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can maximize their potential.
