Financial Planning & Analysis, Assistant Vice President

Role Overview: As a key member of the Finance team, your role will involve supporting the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives to drive financial performance. You will collaborate with senior management and various Finance disciplines to help achieve the firm's overall finance objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with senior management to achieve financial objectives such as revenue and expense goals by providing insightful analysis and strategic advice. - Act as the primary point of contact for the business management team on all Finance disciplines. - Develop financial plans based on an understanding of business priorities. - Support performance-based outcomes and contribute to the strategic direction of the team. - Manage various financial aspects including maintaining strong partnerships with business heads and driving financial discipline and efficiencies. - Develop multi-year financial plans in partnership with business heads aligned with Citigroup's strategic planning process. - Provide regular financial performance updates to business heads and develop business cases and analyses to inform investment decisions. - Contribute to solutions for complex financial challenges and identify and execute expense management initiatives. - Provide financial reports and analytics to senior management and offer thought leadership on internal decisions with a major impact on the area managed. Qualifications: - 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. - Bachelor's/University degree, with a preference for a Master's degree and managerial experience.
