This is a flexible, part time role for working professionals who enjoy reviewing models and mentoring the next generation of finance talent.

🎯 Role Overview

As a Financial Model Reviewer, you will

• Review Excel based models built by our learners
• Spot errors, bad structure and weak assumptions
• Share clear, practical feedback
• Help make their work closer to the models you see in real deals

You will work directly with the founder and training team and your review will shape how ready our learners are for interviews and live projects.

📁 What You Will Do

Model Review

• Review learner models including
• 3 statement financial models
• DCF valuation models
• Trading and transaction comps
• PPA or deal models where relevant
• Simple LBO or project finance cases (if in scope)

Quality Check

• Check for
• Correct linking between financial statements
• Clean inputs, workings and output structure
• Circularity, flags and basic error checks
• Hardcoding and poor formula practices
• Layout, formatting and tab discipline

Feedback & Mentoring

• Provide written comments directly in the file and in a simple summary note
• Highlight what is correct, what is wrong and what can be improved
• Optional: record short Loom style videos to walk through key feedback points
• Suggest best practices that reflect real IB, Big 4 or valuation work

Content Improvement

• Share ideas to refine case studies and solution files
• Help us keep our training content aligned with current industry standards

✅ What You Should Have

• Current or past experience in at least one of the following
• Big 4 valuations or TAS
• Investment banking
• PE / VC
• Equity research
• Specialist valuation or transaction advisory boutique
• Strong hands on experience with financial modeling in Excel
• Comfort reviewing large multi tab models with deadlines
• High attention to detail and a habit of structured review
• Ability to explain technical feedback in simple, student friendly language

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring juniors, interns or analysts
• CA, CFA, MBA Finance or similar qualification

⏰ Engagement and 💰 Compensation

• Engagement: Part time, remote, assignment based
• Time: Roughly 5 to 10 hours per week, flexible across evenings and weekends
• Pay: Per model or hourly basis, depending on mutual comfort and seniority

You will have the freedom to choose how many models you want to take up based on your schedule.
