Financial Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Financial Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing performance reports, and supporting the management team in decision-making processes related to equity, grey, and commodity markets. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and sound knowledge of financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of market data across equity, commodity, and grey market segments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and financial reports using advanced Excel tools.
• Track market trends, company performance, and sectoral movements to support investment decisions.
• Assist in portfolio tracking, profit-loss analysis, and return optimization.
• Support management in preparing data-driven presentations and dashboards.
• Analyse trading data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain and update internal databases related to trades and investments.
• Collaborate with the operations and research teams to streamline data flow and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of analytical reports.
• Provide actionable insights for business improvement and strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial or market analysis.

• Expertise in Advanced Excel

  (Pivot Tables, Macros, Power Query, and Data Visualization).
• Strong understanding of

  Equity, Commodity, and Grey Markets
