Financial Analyst

About the Role:

Sharda Group is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with at least 8 years of relevant experience to join our Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, provide financial insights and strategic recommendations for new projects and business initiatives. This role will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, forecasting and supporting strategic decision-making for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Evaluation & Feasibility:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis of existing & new business opportunities, capital projects, expansion initiatives and cost saving initiatives.
• Prepare feasibility reports, ROI calculations, IRR, Net Present Value and payback period analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for project assumptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Financial Modeling & Forecasting:

• Build and maintain dynamic financial models for new and ongoing projects.
• Forecast cash flows, budgets and investment requirements.
• Sensitivity and scenario analysis for key decision-making.

Strategic Planning:

• Assist in the formulation of financial strategies aligned with long-term business goals.
• Provide financial inputs for business plans, strategic reviews, and board presentations.
• Monitor key financial KPIs to track project performance and strategic outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Present financial analysis and strategic insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Support due diligence, investor pitch decks, and financing proposals.
• Check financial reports / returns, financial data and inputs from businesses on behalf of CEO.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure alignment with financial policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal control standards.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies for new projects.

• Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide senior management with data-driven recommendations and reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
• Plan and implement financial dashboards integrate AI-based tools into financial planning.
• Seek, Evaluate/asses and give recommendations wrt financial reports/returns and analyses financial date from group business including new business initiatives/ projects/perspective plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA/CA preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in financial modeling, MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
