Financial Analyst- Intern

Role Overview: You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual seeking an internship opportunity in our team. This role will provide hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, where you will work alongside senior professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports. - Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. - Perform variance analysis to identify financial trends and deviations, providing actionable insights. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. - Help ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks. - Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior analysts and finance teams. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, NetSuite, MS Dynamics) is a plus. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment. - Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
