Financial Analyst - Intercompany

Role Overview: You have an exciting opportunity as a Financial Analyst at Stantec's Pune office, where you will be a key member of the Financial Services team. Your role involves providing financial expertise in day-to-day operations, focusing on financial reporting and adding value to the company. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare intercompany reconciliations and identify variances - Analyze and coordinate intercompany transfers monthly - Prepare complex journal entries for intercompany balancing and currency conversions under tight deadlines - Investigate and follow up on intercompany variances - Communicate with Global entities and provide intercompany guidance - Prepare other balance sheet account reconciliations as needed - Assist in the 5-day period end close process - Identify and assist with the implementation of business process improvements - Maintain process documentation - Undertake various duties and projects as assigned Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Effective communication skills, including written and oral English language competency - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and firm deadlines - Attention to detail - Proactive attitude - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Additional Details: Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting with approximately 32,000 employees working in over 450 locations across 6 continents.
