Financial Advisor

Join the team of an Australian-based company providing office management services for small to medium- sized businesses.

Our CLIENT is a Financial planning company based in Australia, Initially looking for an Advisers assistant who can assist with daily administration tasks with the view to moving into a paraplanner and/ or financial adviser role in the future. Full training will be provided

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning:

  Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Work closely with Support Staff and Paraplanners to generate compliant Advice.
• Perform Ad-Hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior management.
• Onboarding new clients onto CRM
• Prepare calculations for the advisor.
• Book client meetings
• Calling existing super funds and insurance companies to complete a questionnaire
• Email insurance to 3rd party providers for clients' disclosure purposes (i.e., superannuation and insurance providers)
• Superannuation review via individual providers
• Insurance quote comparison
• Meeting (Record of Advice) preparation
• Pre-meeting requests and post-meeting summary emails
• Facilitate the annual insurance review process:
• Draw insurance quotes
• Prepare annual review documents

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).
• 2+ years' experience working in the industry within financial planning/advice
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques,
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel/Google Sheets.
• High level of English comprehension and conversing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Previous experience in the Australian financial planning sector would be advantageous.
