Role Description This is a part time, on-site role based in Surat for a Career Counsellor. The Career Counsellor will be responsible for delivering group career awareness, exploration and guidance sessions, offering occupation information, and designing plans tailored to individual student goals. Responsibilities also include facilitating career development workshops, working collaboratively with teachers and parents to align aspirations with practical steps, creating resources to aid career exploration, and organizing career-related events. Qualifications Skills in Career Counseling, Career Planning, and Vocational Guidance to help students explore appropriate career paths Proficiency in Communication, Active Listening, and Interpersonal Skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff Organizational and Event Planning skills for workshops and career fairs Knowledge of Co-curricular Activities, Academic Guidance, and Student Well-being to support holistic development Understanding of NEP-aligned frameworks, 21st-century skill development, and educational technology tools is advantageous Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field Hands-on experience in school counseling or similar roles is an asset
