Key Responsibilities:

Audit Documentation Review:
Support the review of engagement team work papers and documentation for key audit areas, ensuring compliance with PCAOB auditing standards and relevant regulations, including independence standards.
Process Understanding & Control Evaluation:
Assist in reviewing accounting processes during the audit planning phase, including walkthroughs, flowcharts, and evaluation of controls and substantive procedures.
Project Management & Coordination:
Lead and manage EQCR (Engagement Quality Control Review) team activities, acting as a central point of contact between the EQCR team and engagement teams. Ensure timely execution of review plans and deliverables.
Information Gathering & Analysis:
Conduct inquiries and confirmations with engagement teams to collect necessary audit-related information and insights.
Reporting & Presentation:
Aggregate review findings and present results to EQCR team members and engagement stakeholders, contributing to decision-making and audit quality improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate effectively with engagement teams, EQCR members, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the audit lifecycle.
Regulatory Awareness:
Stay updated on PCAOB standards, US firm methodologies, and other relevant developments in the audit and regulatory landscape.
Quality Initiatives:
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing audit quality and operational efficiency within the EQCR framework.
