Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Financial reporting & accounting
prepare and oversee financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash-flow), manage ledgers, ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting, forecasting & financial planning
— build budgets, forecast revenue/expenses/cash flow, plan future financial needs, and help align financial planning with business goals.
Cash flow & working-capital management
— monitor inflows and outflows, manage accounts receivable and payable, ensure liquidity so operations run smoothly.
Financial analysis & strategic support
— analyse financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, guide investments or spending decisions, support management in strategic decisions.
Compliance, risk management & controls
— ensure adherence to regulatory/tax/accounting laws, implement internal controls, manage audits, minimize financial risks.
Team leadership & collaboration
— manage the finance/accounting team, collaborate with other departments (HR, operations, sales, etc.) for budgeting, payroll, project-costing, and financial coordination.
