Job Description

Role Purpose

To manage end-to-end accounting, statutory compliances, and taxation functions of the organization including direct and indirect tax filings, audits, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards applicable to the company.

Role & responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Manage preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors ensuring timely completion of audits.
Ensure compliance with RBI/NHB regulations related to financial reporting.
Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
Monitor vendor payments, expense management, and fund flow.
Handle tax assessments, notices, and queries from authorities.
Provide MIS reports and financial insights to management for decision-making.
Implement process improvements for better financial control and accuracy.
Liaise with banks, consultants, and external stakeholders for financial and tax matters.
