Finance Controller - Jaipur Location

Job Description: As a Senior Accountant, your role will involve preparing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date balance sheets, including other current assets, fixed assets, and interbranch and intercompany reconciliations. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving discrepancies in balance sheet accounts promptly. Additionally, conducting analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential issues in accounting processes and operations will be a key part of your responsibilities. It will also be your duty to conduct Trial Scrutiny to identify accounting hygiene issues and recommend and implement correct accounting practices. Making systematic changes to processes and procedures to ensure discipline in accounting operations will be crucial. Furthermore, you will prepare financial reports and recommendations for management, ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulations. You will also play a significant role in coordinating and closing statutory audits, as well as compiling data for tax audits and other department cases. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheets, including other assets reconciliations - Investigate and resolve discrepancies in balance sheet accounts - Conduct analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential issues in accounting processes - Perform Trial Scrutiny to identify accounting hygiene issues and recommend corrective measures - Implement systematic changes in processes and procedures for disciplined accounting operations - Prepare financial reports and recommendations for management - Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulations - Coordinate and close statutory audits - Compile data for tax audits and other department cases Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant field with a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CA, CA (Inter), or CMA designation is desirable - Experience in accounting operations with a proven track record in balance sheet reconciliation - Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with finance software like ERP is advantageous - Top-tier analytical skills with a keen eye for detail - Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
