Job Description

About the Team:

The team is responsible for finalizing the Accounts Payable portion of the month-end close. This involves ensuring all liabilities are captured accurately for the reporting period.

Role & responsibilities

Regularly reconcile AP ledgers to ensure that all vendor invoices and payments are accurately recorded.
Ensure all AP transactions for the month are posted before closing to avoid cutoff issues, including outstanding invoices, credit memos, and adjustments.
Ensure that all AP transactions comply with internal controls, company policies, and SOX or other regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing AP reports and documentation on controls.
Regularly review AP processes and reports, suggesting improvements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Ensure AP processes and reports adhere to regulatory requirements, supporting audit activities and remediating any issues.
Ability to analyze AP data and identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential issues.
Understanding of SOX and internal controls to ensure AP processes meet regulatory standards.

Preferred candidate profile

CA Inter with 3-6 years of experience in controllership role/Finance reporting role.
Candidate must have strong MS office, ERP System understanding and having accounting experience will help succeed these role.
