Role Overview: As a Finance Control Manager, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, and other accounting records in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, rules, and regulations. You will support in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, as well as reporting on these financial risks to senior colleagues. Additionally, you will be involved in the development and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure there is no fraudulent misreporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices across the organization. - Manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications, collaborating with IT colleagues to integrate financial systems with other enterprise systems. - Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports to authorities, providing support to other departments in their preparation and review of regulatory reports. - Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities in support of audits and examinations. Qualifications Required: - In-depth technical knowledge and experience in finance and accounting. - Thorough understanding of financial principles and concepts. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
