Finance Acctg Sr. Lead Analyst

The Finance Accounting Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional with expertise in the field, offering guidance and insights to various business lines. You will be responsible for providing authoritative advice on business operations, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially at a senior level. Your role involves managing financial and management reporting, planning, and analysis, while also ensuring compliance with controls and accuracy in accounting processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple locations to communicate strategies and action plans effectively. As a qualified candidate, you should have a Chartered Accountant (CA), Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent education, along with at least 10 years of experience in accounting management and stakeholder management. The role will involve overseeing financial statement governance, segment financials review, and month-end reporting requirements. You will be responsible for compiling segment-level financial data, conducting variance analysis, validating reporting balances, and presenting key reporting highlights and disclosures. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in closing the accounting books, analyzing month-end and quarter-end financials, supervising account reconciliation, and ensuring accuracy in financial statements for internal and external reporting. Your responsibilities will also include executing Risk & Control initiatives, monitoring balance sheet controls, assisting in regulatory reporting, and performing financial due diligence on deals and transactions impacting profit & loss accounts. Furthermore, you will lead a team or multiple teams, overseeing budget planning, performance evaluation, hiring, and disciplinary actions. Your role will involve establishing and maintaining strong financial controls, reviewing procedures, and coordinating deep dives to identify control deficiencies and implement solutions. You will also be responsible for coordinating audit preparation work, monitoring control deficiencies, and ensuring resolution plans are in place for identified issues.
