Job Summary:

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute

  automation test scripts

  for Finacle applications (version 11.x preferred).
• Perform

  functional, regression, and integration testing

  for Finacle modules such as CASA, Loans, Payments, and Trade Finance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as

  Selenium, UFT, TestNG, or similar

  .
• Perform

  API testing

  using tools like

  Postman, Rest Assured, or SOAP UI

  .
• Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test data preparation.
  
• Ensure test automation aligns with CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,

  Jenkins, GitLab CI

  ).
• Generate detailed test reports and track quality metrics.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years

  of total experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation).

• 2+ years

  of experience working in the

  Banking or Core Banking domain

  (Finacle experience mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with

  Finacle version 11.x

  (preferred) or earlier versions.
• Strong experience in

  test automation frameworks

  and scripting (Java, Python, or VBScript).
• Experience with

  defect management tools

  (e.g., JIRA, ALM, or Bugzilla).
• Solid understanding of

  SDLC/STLC

  and

  Agile

  methodologies.
• Exposure to

  Database Testing

  (SQL, Oracle).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in

  Finacle Integration Testing

  (e.g., middleware, APIs, interfaces).
• Knowledge of

  Finacle customization and scripting

  .
• Experience in

  DevOps tools

  and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Certification in

  ISTQB / Finacle Testing / Automation Tools

  is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
