Field Testing Associate

About the Role

We are testing our Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and are looking for a Field Testing Engineer to assist with hands-on field operations. This role includes mechanical support, equipment handling, basic documentation, and coordination. Ideal for diploma graduates or freshers with basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly in both English and Hindi.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in AUV launch, retrieval, and site setup
• Handle tools, mounts, cables, batteries, and connectors
• Perform basic mechanical checks and assembly under supervision
• Maintain daily checklists, reports, and field documentation
• Support in equipment transport, gear prep, and on-site logistics
• Use basic computer tools (MS Word, Excel, file handling)

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience (college projects/internships welcome)
• Basic mechanical/hardware understanding (tools, fittings, connections, etc.)
• Comfortable with field tasks and hands-on work in outdoor settings
• Must be proficient in English and Hindi
• Good with basic computer skills – Word, Excel, file transfers
• Willingness to travel for field tests and work near water if required
