Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment or systems at client locations, focusing on providing technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service. You will be required to travel to customer sites to diagnose issues, offer solutions, and ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include performing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment or systems, promptly troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, conducting routine maintenance checks, and educating customers on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for accurately completing service reports, maintaining tools and parts inventory, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards, and collaborating with technical support, engineering, or sales teams as necessary. To excel in this role, you should have an ITI Fitter, Electrical, or Diploma qualification along with 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar field service or technical support position. A solid understanding of systems or equipment, the ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a valid driver's license, willingness to travel extensively, and basic computer skills are essential. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person. You will be expected to respond to service calls and emergencies during or outside normal working hours as required and stay up-to-date with product training and technical developments.,
