Field Service Engineer- Medical devices

As a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer, your role will involve installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. Your technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and commitment to exceptional service will ensure optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Installation & Commissioning: Install and calibrate medical devices (such as Monitors, ECG, Syringe pump, etc.) at client sites following manufacturer specifications. - Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolutions to minimize downtime. - Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients, effectively addressing operational issues and user concerns. - Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users (doctors, nurses, technicians) on proper usage and basic troubleshooting of equipment. - Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and equipment history, and update CRM/service management tools. - Compliance & Safety: Ensure all service activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and healthcare safety regulations. - Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the supply team for part requisitions. Qualifications & Skills: - Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field. - 3-5 years of field service experience in the medical device industry is preferred. - Familiarity with critical care equipment is a must. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills with the ability to work independently. - Willingness to travel across the assigned region.
