Field Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Site Supervision & Technical Support

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on site including civil works, electrical installations, and charger equipment setup. •Ensure work is performed according to approved engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies. •Provide technical clarifications and support to construction teams and subcontractors. •

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Conduct inspections and quality checks of materials, workmanship, and installed equipment. •Verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), and safety regulations. •Report non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions. • •

3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor and document daily site progress, labor and equipment usage, and any issues encountered. •Prepare and submit daily or weekly field reports to the Construction Manager and Project Engineering Manager. •Track completion against schedule and escalate potential delays.

4. Interface & Coordination

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of technical issues. •Liaise with utility providers for grid connection activities and inspections. •Ensure proper interface between civil works, electrical installations, and EV charging hardware

5. Testing & Commissioning Support

• Assist commissioning engineers in conducting functional tests of EV chargers, electrical panels, and protection devices. •Document test results and support troubleshooting during commissioning.

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic knowledge of civil and electrical engineering related to EV charging infrastructure.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and construction best practices.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
