Job Title: Service Engineer EV Manufacturing Department: Service & After-Sales Experience: 2-5 Years Location: Lucknow, UP Reports to: Service Manager / Regional Service Head Key Responsibilities: Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and resolve technical issues in electric two-wheelers / three-wheelers. Perform routine service, preventive maintenance, and software updates. Handle battery diagnostics, motor controller checks, and charging system repairs. Support in field breakdowns and provide on-site service when required. Installation & Commissioning: Assist in pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and vehicle commissioning. Ensure proper setup of diagnostic tools and software during vehicle commissioning. Provide installation support for service tools, chargers, and related equipment at service centers. Customer Handling & Service: Interact with customers to understand and resolve complaints efficiently. Educate customers on EV maintenance, charging practices, and safety guidelines. Ensure prompt and professional after-sales service, enhancing customer satisfaction. Technical Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service reports, diagnostic records, and warranty claims documentation. Provide feedback to the R&D/Quality team on recurring issues or field failures. Document and escalate complex technical issues to higher technical support teams. Training & Process Adherence: Conduct technical training sessions for junior technicians and dealer staff. Ensure adherence to service SOPs, safety standards, and company policies. Stay updated with the latest EV technology trends, diagnostic methods, and repair procedures. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of EV systems: Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Controllers, CAN Communication, Power Electronics. Hands-on experience in mechanical & electrical troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and customer handling abilities. Ability to work independently and in field conditions. Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering.
