Job Title : Field Service Engineer Location : Vapi, Vadodara, Ankleshwar Job Type : Permanent Fresher to experienced can apply Industry : Diesel Generator (DG) Sales, Repair & Maintenance Job Description : We are seeking a Service Engineer specializing in Diesel Generator (DG) Sets to handle fieldwork related to sales, repair, and maintenance . The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, servicing, and business development at customer locations. Key Responsibilities : Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of Diesel Generator (DG) Sets at client sites. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in DG sets. Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs . Promote sales of DG sets, spare parts, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) . Provide technical support and consultation to customers regarding DG operations and maintenance. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business. Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities . Maintain service logs, reports, and documentation for each job. Key Requirements : Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering 1-5 years of experience in DG set servicing, repair, and sales . Strong knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, control panels, and fuel systems . Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing generator sets (5 kVA to 500 kVA and above) . Familiarity with AMF panels, synchronizing panels, and load management . Good communication skills with the ability to interact with customers professionally.
