Field Sales Officer

JOB TITLE:

Sales Officer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To promote products and services to customers and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits.

IMPORTANT JOB FUNCTIONS:

Achieve Sales Targets: Responsible for achieving pre-agreed sales targets and maintaining strong retailer/distributor relationships within the assigned territory.

Daily Market Visits: Visit assigned markets daily and record orders using the company-specified application.

Market Intelligence: Stay updated with industry trends, engage customers, and address their business challenges.

Sales Goals: Achieve weekly and monthly individual sales goals.

Customer Base Development: Build and maintain a repeat-business customer base to regularly communicate upcoming events and increase sales.

Brand Standards: Ensure product displays meet high-quality brand standards and guidelines.

Negotiation & Objection Handling: Negotiate and close deals, handle complaints or objections effectively.

Receivables Management: Ensure timely collection of payments to keep receivables under control.

Cross-Selling & Upselling: Promote and sell across all product categories.

New Market Development: Identify and develop new market opportunities.

Order Assembly: Assemble stock as per orders for daily delivery after returning from the market.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for cheque and cash collection from retailers/distributors.

Reports To: Head - Sales

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL SETS:

Education: Graduation (Bachelor’s degree)

Experience: 3 to 4 years in sales or a related field

Specialized Skills:

Negotiation skills

Passion for sales

Presentation skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
