Role Overview

The Dealer Sales Executive (DSE) will be responsible for generating sales of commercial vehicles through effective customer handling, market research, lead management, and coordination with dealership teams. The role requires strong product knowledge, customer relationship skills, and the ability to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and generate new customer leads in assigned territory.
  • Conduct field visits to fleet owners, transporters, logistics companies, and local businesses.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for commercial vehicles.
  • Promote new products, schemes, finance offers, and exchange programs.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle models.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and repeat customers.
  • Handle customer queries, provide quotations, and assist in model selection.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

3. Product & Market Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial vehicle models, features, USPs, technical specifications, and price lists.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Provide inputs for local marketing campaigns and customer engagement activities.

4. Documentation & Finance Coordination

  • Assist customers with loan / finance documentation through partnered NBFCs/banks.
  • Ensure timely completion of booking forms, registration documents, and delivery processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for insurance, RTO, invoicing, and vehicle dispatch.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Update daily sales reports, lead status, and CRM entries.
  • Participate in weekly review meetings and forecast planning.
  • Ensure adherence to dealership and OEM compliance, processes, and guidelines.
