Deptts., PSU's, DRDO's, Educational Institutions, MNC's, IIT's, Automobiles, Electronic & Electrical Instruments Manufactures etc. » Role Summary We are looking for a Sales Field Engineer with strong technical acumen and a solution-selling mindset. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, conducting technical presentations, and managing client accounts across your assigned geography. The role demands both deep product understanding and a sharp focus on client engagement. » Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) 1. Client Acquisition & Demand Generation ¢ Target B2B clients: Private Industries, Railways, PSUs, DRDOs, Educational Institutions & Other Govt. Deptts. ¢ Build and manage a pipeline through cold visits, inbound leads, and channel referrals ¢ Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, and institutional demonstrations 2. Solution-Oriented Sales ¢ Conduct needs-based analysis to recommend specific instrumentation solutions (e.g. power analyzers, digital Multimeters, thermographic cameras, signal generators, IR Temperature Sensors, Earth Tester etc.) ¢ Look out for desired requirement & target Customer Application ¢ Use consultative questioning techniques to uncover latent customer needs 3. Account Management & Post-Sale Engagement ¢ Monitor customer satisfaction, usage feedback, and ensure support teams are aligned ¢ Promote value-added services like calibration, AMC, or product upgrades ¢ Drive upsell opportunities by staying in touch with customer workflows 4. Internal Coordination & Reporting ¢ Coordinate with supply chain/logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment ¢ Forecast revenue, maintain funnel hygiene, and share market insights with management » Qualification & Experience ¢ Education: Bachelors in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Communication ¢ Experience: 24 years in Technical Field Sales, preferably in test instruments, automation, industrial tools, or electronic components ¢ Knowledge: MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook, Efficient in Communication Skills » Key Competencies ¢ Excellent client communication & presentation skills ¢ Strong understanding of measurement principles and product applications ¢ Ability to operate independently and manage a sales territory ¢ Willingness to travel frequently and work with minimal supervision » Compensation & Benefits ¢ Fixed Salary: 48 LPA ¢ Incentives: Lucrative commission plan based on achievement ¢ Travel Reimbursement, Mobile/Data Plan ¢ Recognition & fast-track growth opportunities based on performance » Work Location Primarily in West Bengal & preferably in Kolkata or Haldia Also required for Multiple locations for Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai » For any queries / further information please contact 9810608378
