Field Sales

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Generation

  : Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in the field. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.

• Client Meetings

  : Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.

• Product Presentation

  : Present and demonstrate products/services to clients, explaining their features, benefits, and how they solve customer challenges.

• Sales Targets

  : Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the management.

• Market Research

  : Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor products, and customer needs in your territory. Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams.

• Negotiation and Closing

  : Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close sales. Work with the legal or finance team to finalize deals.

• Reporting

  : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipeline updates, and progress toward targets.

• Customer Support

  : Provide excellent after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction and drive repeat business. Address any issues or concerns promptly.

• Networking

  : Attend trade shows, industry events, or networking opportunities to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in field sales or a similar role, preferably in [industry relevant to the company, e.g., technology, healthcare, retail, etc.].
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, often without direct supervision.
  
• Negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
  
• Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  
• A valid drivers license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
