As a Sample Collector / Field Executive in the veterinary diagnostic team, your role will include collecting various biological samples from veterinary clinics, farms, and client locations, ensuring proper handling and transport to the laboratory. You will be responsible for maintaining sample integrity and communicating effectively with clinic staff and clients. Key Responsibilities: - Collect a variety of biological samples (blood, feces, urine, tissues, swabs, etc.) from veterinary clinics, farms, and client locations as per the schedule provided. - Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and packaging of all collected samples. - Maintain the cold chain and adhere to biosecurity protocols during sample transportation. - Communicate efficiently with clinic staff, clients, and the lab team to coordinate sample logistics effectively. - Keep detailed and precise records of sample collections, deliveries, and interactions with clients. - Follow all safety and hygiene standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfection procedures. - Perform basic field documentation using a mobile device or logbook for record-keeping. - Promptly report any sample anomalies, damage, or delays to the laboratory for necessary action. Qualifications: - Minimum PUC/12th grade pass; diploma in animal science or paramedical field is preferred. - Previous experience in sample collection, veterinary fieldwork, or lab courier services is advantageous. - Familiarity with common veterinary samples and handling procedures is desirable. - Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols accurately. - Good communication skills in Kannada and English for effective interaction with clients and team members. In this field-based role within Bangalore or the service area, you will be required to travel to client locations, which may involve early morning, evening, or weekend duties based on client requirements.
