Field Executive / Sample Collector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Sample Collector / Field executive to join our veterinary diagnostic team. The role involves collecting animal samples from clinics, farms, or hospitals, ensuring proper labeling and handling, and delivering them safely to the laboratory for processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect biological samples (blood, feces, urine, tissues, swabs, etc.) from veterinary clinics, farms, and other client locations as per schedule.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and packaging of all samples.
• Maintain cold chain and biosecurity protocols during sample transportation.
• Communicate effectively with clinic staff, clients, and the lab team regarding sample logistics.
• Keep accurate records of collections, deliveries, and any client interactions.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, including use of PPE and disinfection procedures.
• Perform basic field documentation using a mobile device or logbook.
• Report any sample anomalies, damage, or delays immediately to the lab.

Qualifications:

• Minimum PUC/12th grade pass; diploma in animal science or paramedical field preferred.
• Experience in sample collection, veterinary fieldwork, or lab courier services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with common veterinary samples and handling procedures.
• Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Good communication skills in Kannada and English
• Work Conditions:
• Field-based role with travel to client locations within [Bangalore or service area].
• May involve early morning, evening, or weekend duties depending on client needs.
