Job Purpose:

The Vehicle Onboarding Porter supports the vehicle intake and delivery process by receiving, inspecting, transporting, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery, service, or inventory intake.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and log newly delivered vehicles from transport carriers.
  
• Conduct initial inspection of incoming vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and equipment compliance.
  
• Move vehicles safely between service bays, delivery areas, storage lots, or showrooms.
  
• Install temporary plates, charge batteries, check fluid levels, and perform other basic prep work.
  
• Wash and clean vehicles as needed for display or customer delivery.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle storage areas and parking lots.
  
• Assist with vehicle photography, scanning VINs, and updating internal inventory systems.
  
• Support service, sales, or logistics teams with vehicle movement and customer coordination.
  
• Ensure all vehicles are handled carefully and comply with safety and quality standards.
  
• Report any damage, mechanical issues, or discrepancies immediately to management.
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  
• Basic knowledge of vehicles and inspections preferred.
  
• Physically able to walk, stand, and move vehicles for extended periods.
  
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Previous experience in an automotive or logistics environment is a plus.
  

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  
• May involve shift work, weekends, or extended hours.
  
• Frequent movement of vehicles in tight spaces.
  
• Requires safety gear and adherence to traffic and safety protocols.
