Field Applications Engineer - RF

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) at our company, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support for troubleshooting and qualification activities on site. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing RF & Microwave circuits, focusing on both Rx & Tx, and conducting lab bench tests with proficiency in RF test equipment. - Applying your 4+ years of experience in Field Applications, Field Sales, or Product Marketing Engineering to support our products. - Demonstrating familiarity with RF & Microwave products ranging from MHz to millimeter wave GHz. - Utilizing your knowledge of RF and Microwave products such as high power silicon RF BiPolar, LDMOS, VDMOS, and MOSFET transistors, as well as RF SiC transistors and silicon and GaAs varactor, Schottky, and pin diodes. - Keeping customers informed about legacy products and new product roadmaps, tracking new business opportunities, and managing samples effectively. - Conducting market research intelligence exercises to gather competitor information. - Developing and maintaining business for assigned product lines while ensuring clear communication and documentation of all contacts and issues with Engineers/Customers. - Traveling to Customer locations to promote demand creation and being willing to travel internationally for technical training from our international partners. Qualifications required for this role include: - A degree (Masters preferred) in Electronic Engineering from a reputed University, with a focus on Microwave and RF circuits. - Minimum 4+ years of experience in RF & Microwave circuit design and Field Applications. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Self-motivation and a desire to continuously learn about new product offerings. - Possession of a passport and ability to travel internationally, with own transportation for local conveyance.
