Analog / Power Field Application Engineer (FAE)

As an Analog/Power Field Application Engineer (FAE) at our company, your role will involve providing technical support to customers in Bangalore. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed University - Possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in the related industry in India - Having familiarity with key power topologies such as Buck/Boost, Fly-back, Buck-Boost, Cuk, Sepic - Understanding key control theory mechanisms like peak current mode control, average current mode control, constant on-time control with valley mode, boundary mode control - Knowledge of important power IC concepts like RDSON/drive requirements, compensation, current limit, ESD protection, error amplifier, PWM comparator, driver requirements, sizing, bootstrap, LDO compensation - Understanding key DC/DC and LDO tradeoffs regarding accuracy, PSRR vs. current stability, load regulation, line regulation, allowable frequency variation, efficiency expectations, failure modes, temperature effects, thermal sizing, PCB layout - Knowledge of design concepts to minimize EMI including short gate drives, short current loops, controlled DI/DT, DV/DT - Understanding PCB design for noise protection like blanking, single point ground, placement of key devices such as a controller, switch, load, etc. - Preference given to candidates with knowledge of Magnetics design, motor drives, offline power, power factor correction, IGBT specifying knowledge and capability - Willingness to travel to customer locations to promote demand creation - Possessing a passport and ability to travel internationally for technical training from international partners - Having your transportation for local conveyance Our company offers an attractive compensation package for the right candidate.,
