Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain
business rules, scorecards, and decision flows
using
FICO Blaze Advisor
.
Translate business requirements into
decision tables, trees, and rule flows
within Blaze.
Collaborate with risk and business teams to implement rule logic based on credit policies and compliance standards.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Optimize rules and maintain performance of Blaze deployments in production environments.
Integrate Blaze Advisor with external systems via APIs, web services, or batch jobs.
Maintain proper documentation of rules logic, rule versions, and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot production issues related to Blaze logic or integration failures.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices.
Work in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality decisioning solutions on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
38 years of experience in software development, with at least 25 years of hands-on experience in
FICO Blaze Advisor
.
Proficient in
Java
,
J2EE
,
XML
, and
SOAP/REST APIs
.
Strong understanding of
decisioning systems
,
credit risk management
, or
loan origination
platforms.
Experience integrating Blaze with
core banking systems
,
LOS
, or
fraud detection platforms
.
Good understanding of rule management concepts, versioning, and governance.
